Vice President
Bob Slabak MEng, Vice President, possesses an aviation career spanning over two decades, including a role as President of Global Aviation Enterprises Inc. from 2001 to 2016. Since joining Aeropol in 2007, he has been instrumental in the completion of success of large-scale projects, such as landing gear overhauls for Airbus A310 and A320 series. His deep industry expertise and passion for aviation has made Aeropol a leader in this specialized field.
As Vice President, Bob’s top priority is to ensure that all segments of the business are operating optimally to meet and exceed client needs and expectations. He employs a future-forward approach to the business, envisioning growth and expansions in various segments of aviation, such as parts and procurement, leasing, and resale.
Director of Sales & Business Development
Nik Broda, Director of Sales and Business Development, joined Aeropol in 2019, earning a promotion to his current role in 2021. He brings over 20 years of international aviation experience gained from his work in the MRO industry in both UAE and Canada. With a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, along with certifications in Material Management, Logistics, and Leadership, Nik guides Aeropol’s sales and business development teams with his deep knowledge in MRO operations and strategic sales expertise.
In his role, Nik is dedicated to crafting tailored solutions that address each client’s unique needs and priorities, all while ensuring alignment with their company values. This customer-focused approach has solidified Aeropol’s reputation as a trusted MRO provider, recognized for its unwavering commitment to quality, innovation, and reliability.
Production Manager
Miro, as Production Manager at Aeropol, oversees all aspects of the company’s daily production operations. With over 30 years of aerospace experience, he manages incoming inspections, shop floor introductions, subcontract arrangements, final inspections, and the shipping of completed customer units. Prior to joining Aeropol, Miro held notable roles as Aircraft Turbine Engine Repair Engineer at Standard Aero, Service Engineer at Magellan Aerospace, and Assembly Inspector at Collins Aerospace. With a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering and memberships in both Professional Engineers Ontario and Engineers Geoscientists Manitoba, Miro has contributed to Engineers in Training Program as a director.
Miro is passionate about sharing his expertise and cultivating strong leaders. His expertise in aerospace technology drives Aeropol’s growth and enhances its capabilities, propelling the company’s mission to provide clients with dependable, timely, and cost-efficient solutions.
Shop Manager
Sean Slomczewski, Shop Manager, oversees Aeropol’s Landing Gear, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Fuel, and Electrical Systems Departments. He has over 20 years of specialized aviation experience in roles as a C-17 Aircraft System Technician at Goodrich Landing Gear, Aircraft Component Technician at Precision Aero Components, Aircraft Systems Mechanic at Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Canada Aerospace, and Senior Methods Engineering at Bombardier Aerospace. He holds a Fluid Power & Technology credential from Sheridan College, along with certifications from Rockwell Collins and Bombardier Aerospace for the Global 5000/6000 platform.
At Aeropol, Sean plays an integral role in ensuring client satisfaction. He provides technical support, manages evaluations, and designs custom tooling for the shop, ensuring that Aeropol’s back-end processes translate to fulfilled customer timelines. He upholds Aeropol’s standards of excellence with his dedication to team development and complex problem-solving.
President
Arthur Sokol, President, steers the Aeropol business with his sharp strategic direction and keen operational oversight. Having learned about the aerospace industry from the ground up, first as a technician, then as Director of Maintenance, and finally his current role, Arthur has mastered the art of managing large-scale maintenance, repair, and MRO overhaul operations. With his deep expertise in complex technical processes and exceptional organizational leadership, Arthur has significantly broadened Aeropol’s service portfolio, introducing advanced landing gear overhauls and innovative component MRO solutions. He has also driven initiatives to secure pivotal industry certifications, forged transformative partnerships, and achieved numerous other milestones that position the company as a leader in the aerospace industry.

Quality Assurance Manager
Subramanian Mani, Quality Assurance Manager, upholds Aeropol’s commitment to product and service excellence through employee training, internal audits, quality inspections, and many more. Demonstrating impressive expertise in process improvement, Mani has a Bachelor’s Degree in Aeronautical Engineering, an Advanced Diploma in Aerospace Manufacturing Engineering, and a Six Sigma Green Belt Certification. He also draws on years of career experience as Final Quality Inspector and Quality Engineer, ensuring that Aeropol’s processes are continuously refined to meet industry standards for quality and consistency.
In his role as Quality Assurance Manager, Mani leads employee training initiatives and integrates feedback to enhance operational performance. He considers quality and safety to be fundamental pillars of any business, a philosophy that is evident in his leadership and strategic approach, strengthening Aeropol’s reputation for reliability and excellence.
